By proceeding with registration, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms outlined below.

Registration Timeline

• Returning 2025/2026 Season Players: Opens August 9 @ 10am
• Public Registration: Opens August 16 @ 10am
• Junior Bulls (younger siblings): Registration opens in September

Returning players who are not on the waitlist must submit payment by August 15th to secure their spot before public registration opens. Any unpaid spots after this date will be released to the waitlist and then made available through public registration. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Team Formation

Our goal is to provide as many children in our community as possible with the opportunity to play basketball. However, as a volunteer-run organization, our ability to offer teams depends on both player registrations and the availability of volunteer coaches.

At this time, we are experiencing a shortage of coaching commitments, particularly for our U12 Girls and U14 Girls programs. While we will make every effort to place all interested players, we may not be able to do so if we are unable to secure enough coaches to support additional teams.

Our ideal roster is teams of 10 players per age group. If registration numbers result in more players than can fit on one team, but not enough players and/or coaches to support two teams, we may be required to hold a tryout (rather than an assessment) to determine roster spots.

If a tryout becomes necessary:

• Not all players may be offered a roster spot.
• Full refunds will be provided to players who are not placed on a team.
• This will be used only as a last resort.

We strongly encourage anyone interested in coaching, especially in the U12 Girls and U14 Girls divisions, to reach out. Additional coaches will help us maximize participation and provide opportunities for more players to play this season.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds once you secure your spot, except in the case of tryout-related releases.

Please be certain that you wish to commit to the Prospect Bulls before registering, as player withdrawals can significantly impact team formation and roster planning.

Assessment dates will be announced soon.

• Players may opt out of assessments but will be placed on a lower-division team.
• Players selected for higher-division teams are expected to play on those teams.
• Please notify us if your player will not attend assessments.

Practice Schedule

• Practice nights are TBD and will depend on coach and gym availability.
• Practice locations may include:
• Prospect Road Elementary School (PRES)
• Brookside Jr High School (BJHS)
• Atlantic Memorial Terence Bay Elementary (AMTB)
• Prospect Road Community Centre (PRCC)
• Ridgecliff Middle School
• John W. MacLeod Fleming Tower Elementary/Middle
• Additional facilities as required
• Travel outside the Prospect Road area may be required.
• Schedules will be finalized in mid to late September.

Please Note: We cannot accommodate friend requests for team placement.

Registration Fee: $450

The registration fee includes:

• Gym rentals (including paid facilities such as PRCC)
• Equipment and uniforms
• MBANS registration fees
• League games and referees
• Insurance and coach training
• Provincial registration fees (Prospect Bulls is currently the only association covering this cost for families)
